Hello, I am Sandeep Paul. I am an interdisciplinary researcher, most interested in topics related to climate change policy, disaster governance, sustainability and urban development.

I completed my PhD in Public Policy from Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, The University of Texas at Austin in 2025. My doctoral work critically examined the science-policy engagement for urban climate policy, highlighting the role of knowledge actors in policy formation and agenda setting.

Prior to my PhD studies, I was a research associate at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi. I also hold an M.A. in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi.
